Recover Set from “Error 10 – LED Blinking” Using USB Stick 111A
SYMPTOM
The set may enter into Digital error mode (red standby indicator LED blinking 10 times).
SOLUTION
When wanting to upgrade to the latest software version from the Sony Support site, it is necessary first to recover
the set, following the procedure outlined below.
NOTE: This document concerns upgrades using a USB device, whereas info related to updates using a Memory
Stick is contained in Technical Bulletin 09TV093.
1. Press the [ANALOG] key to power on the chassis.
2. Set [Power on] in Analog tuning.
3. Press [HOME] to Launch the XMB.
4. Select “Set-up” in the XMB.
