Incorrect Codes in RM-ED019 Instruction Manual
SYMPTOM
When programming the remote commander for a non-Sony brand of BD, DVD or AMP, the remote commander will
not accept the 3 digit manufacturer code of the RM-ED019 Instruction Manual, or the code may be missing. The
selected button flashes 5 times.
CAUSE
Incorrect Instruction Manual. Codes must consist of 4 instead of 3 digits to work properly.
SOLUTION
Refer to the improved Instruction Manual (IM_RM-ED019.pdf), which is attached to this Technical Bulletin and
contains the correct 4 digit codes for the remote commander (page 5-7).
