SYMPTOM
No recognition of the panel specification via HDMI connection or D-Sub 15 connection. As a result, no picture may
appear, or the screen may be in lowest screen resolution.
CAUSE
Empty EDID NVM.
SOLUTION
Follow the instructions below to write the EDID NVM data, using the files attached to this Technical Bulletin. You
can choose between HDMI input and PC input, in both cases using the TL3 jig.

1. Data handling for HDMI INPUTS
It is not possible to write the EDID data for HDMI inputs directly with the TRACE jig. Instead, write it by ECS with
the Code2 program, as indicated below.
1-1. Apply “TT31”.
1-2. Download and extract the “Code2_AZ1N.zip” file attached to this Technical Bulletin.
1-3. Open the Code2 program and select [File(F)] => [Write NVM Image[File->NVM](W)] => [Without verify read].

1-4. Select the appropriate first data file for HDMI Input, ending with “eep”.
1-5. Select “EDID B0+B1” as writing device. Click [OK].
1-6. Click [No] when the window below appears.
1-7. Repeat steps 1-3 to 1-5, using the second file for HDMI input, ending with “CEC.eep”.
1-8. Apply “TT08”.

2-7. Repeat steps 2-3 to 2-5, using the second file for HDMI input, ending with “CEC.eep”.
2-8. Apply “TT08”.
