Software Upgrading Procedure for AZ-1N Chassis [REVISION 4]
This Technical Bulletin describes the upgrading procedure for the AZ-1N chassis, using a USB stick. An update is
needed, amongst others, for software fixes or when replacing the BEN board.

PREPARATION
1. Take an empty USB stick and create a folder called “upgrades”.
2. Download the “SecureDev_ProdCred_MxRxx_Mx.xxx.upg” (SW) and, if necessary, the applicable
“SecureNVM_MxRxx_*” (NVM) file(s) attached to Technical Bulletin 10TV005.
3. Copy the files in the “upgrades” folder on the USB stick.
UPDATE PROCEDURE
!! KDL-32/40EX600: If the update fails (reduced picture after updating), please refer to TB 10TV051 for further
details. The procedure for recovering the NVM can be found at the end of this document.
1. Insert the USB stick in the USB TV slot, and switch on the TV. If the TV goes to Standby due to Auto panel
detect function, then switch on the TV again.
2. Open the Service Menu by pressing: “<info> + <5> + <Vol+> + <standby>” or via the TT Menu.
