Digital Channels not Stored after Power Off C762
SYMPTOM
When powering off the set with the [Power] button or mains, DVB-T services are lost.
CAUSE
The Flash file system cannot store more than 255 services.
=> Tune database software modules use an internal limit of 2000 programmes, whereas the flash memory buffer
for the above listed models allows a maximum of only 255 programmes. The tune database is not saved if the
actual file exceeds the physical file size in the flash buffer configuration. As a result, the customer can store more
than 255 services in auto tuning, but once the set is powered off by the power button or mains, the tune database
file is not stored in the flash buffer and information is lost.
NOTE: Currently, only in Italy more than 255 channels are available. Other countries have less than 100 services.
SOLUTION
The problem can be resolved by
Manually tuning new channels, or
Updating the software, following the procedure outlined below.
Software Type Version Location
EMMA2L 2.11.304 PWB-N
