Abolition of “Send from PC to TV” Function [REVISION 1]
SYMPTOM
For the “Send from PC to TV” application that is included in the Enhanced Feature menu, the following issues have
been detected.
Explanation about how to activate the application is not available, neither in the Instruction Manual nor in
the i-manual.
The Plug-in (software for PC) can be downloaded from the Essential webpage, but a contents error message
appears when sending a video from PC to TV.
SOLUTION
Please inform customers and dealers that "Send from PC to TV" features and services will be removed from the
Enhanced Features menu due to lack of instructions, starting from SW version 0470 (EUT segment), 0513 (EUS
segment) and 0468 (all others).
Sony will not provide any support to customers that already downloaded the Plug-in from the web.
Therefore, do not promote this function to anyone.
