Subject: Filter for 3D Glasses [REVISION 2]
SYMPTOM
When watching 3D content the image may be disturbed.
CAUSE
3D glasses for the listed models do not have a polarizer in the front (image side) to avoid flickering of environment
light. As side effects by this, when a face is leaned aslant, picture crosstalk arises because the polarization axis of
the lens inclines.
SOLUTION
Add a filter to the front of 3D glasses lenses (image side), following the instructions outlined below.
IMPORTANT
In case the customer experiences flickering of environment light using 3D glasses with this filter, it is
highly recommended to stop using this filter immediately.
These filters are prepared only for customers who strongly complain about “double image”. It is necessary to warn
them that applying a filter may worsen the flickering side effect.
Depending on the size of the glasses, a different filter has to be used.
