SOLUTION
Update to the latest SW version following the abridged procedure below. For the full procedure, please refer to
TB 11TV030.
1. Software fixes
1. Download and unzip the attached software package. Copy the content (1 “*_.pkg” file) to an empty USB stick.

2. Turn on the TV.
3. Connect the USB stick. A message “There are no items to display” will appear.
4. Press the [HOME] button to enter the set-up menu and select [Settings] => [Set-up] => [USB System Update].
5. When being asked “Do you want to start system update now?”, press [OK].
6. For a brief moment the message “Scanning” appears.
7. A warning message appears. Confirm by pressing [OK].
8. The update will start and take +/-2 minutes, indicated by an on-screen progress bar and 2 green LEDs flashing.
9. As soon as the update is finished, a message appears.
10. One green LED lights up again and the TV turns on automatically.
11. Remove the USB stick.

12. Confirm whether the software is correctly updated via the Settings menu, by pressing [HOME] => [Settings] => [Set-up] => [Product Support].
2. Panel / Main board update
In case the panel or main board needs replacing, additionally update the NVM data, using the applicable file indicated below and attached to this Technical Bulletin.

NOTE: For the DVD Loader software, make sure to use the correct NVM file (region “2” for Europe; region “5” for Russia).
1. Turn on the TV.
2. Unplug the AC power cord.
3. Connect USB memory.
IMPORTANT: Do not connect USB memory in standby mode.
4. Plug the AC power cord. The update will start automatically.
4-1. The green LED will light.
4-2. The update will start, indicated by two green LEDs flashing (1-2 min).
4-3. When the update is finished, the green LED lights again and the TV turns on.
5. Unplug the AC power cord and disconnect the USB memory.
6. Plug the AC power cord then turn on the TV.
7. After the NVM update, check the panel setting.
7-1. Enter Service Menu.
7-2. Check panel setting (For details, please refer to the right column in above table).
