Subject: Guidelines for connecting “Bunchin” and another Audio System
SYMPTOM
After connecting an additional audio system (Home Theatre System, AV Amplifier/Receiver etc.) to a TV stand with
active Speaker (“Bunchin”), the Bravia Sync function will not work anymore for the Bunchin.
CAUSE
HDMI standard allows only one HDMI-CEC (Consumer Electronics Control).
SOLUTION
To ensure that the Bunchin can still be CEC-controlled, the HDMI-CEC setting of the additional audio system
must be set to “Off”.
Refer to the instructions below how to connect and set up all devices.
1. Connecting
1-1. Connect the “TV Out(ARC)” of the Bunchin to the “HDMI1(ARC) of the TV.
1-2. Connect the HDMI output of the additional audio system to HDMI 2~4 of the TV for digital video/sound signal.
1-3. Connect the additional audio system to TV via the optical cable to ensure digital audio signal.
