This document instructs how to handle the
HIT safety inspection and rework programme
SYMPTOM
In rare cases the upper portion of the rear cabinet may become deformed due to excess heat.
CAUSE
Resistance level of the HIT transformers T6801 and T6600 on the DF1 board not being within specification,
causing the burnout of an internal connector.
SOLUTION
According to the public announcement, concerned customers are entitled to a free check-up and, if necessary,
repair. Visit the customer and proceed according to the flowchart below.
