Subject: Green LED blinking every 3 seconds
SYMPTOM
After power-on the set switches off by itself (no picture, no sound), while the green LED blinks once every 3
seconds.
CAUSE
TV set is shipped from Factory in Factory Aging mode.
SOLUTION
The TV can be recovered by exiting the Aging mode.
IMPORTANT: Please use this solution instead of exchanging the Mother Board.
Procedure
1. Plug the AC cord & switch on the TV by remote commander.
2. Green LED blinks every 3 seconds.
3. Switch off Aging mode. To switch off aging mode you need a remote commander (RM-ED041, RM-ED044)
enabled in test mode.
3-1. Enable Test mode on the remote by pressing “INPUT SELECT” + “5” + “VOL+” for approximately 5 seconds.
3-2. Switch off Aging mode by pressing the Test Key + “[i+]”. (Test Key is BRAVIA SYNC button “ “.)
NOTE: If using the customer’s remote commander, make sure to disable Test mode on the remote again.
4. TV is now in normal mode and must work properly.
5. Set the shipping condition by pressing “cursor up” on the remote commander and pressing the “power key” on
the TV keys panel.
6. Wait until the TV restarts and the initial setup menu appears.
7. Switch off the TV by the remote and then unplug the AC cord.
