Subject: Black screen / No operation
SYMPTOM
The TV screen may black out. After powering on, the menu and specific functions cannot be operated (except for
volume control).
NOTE: Issue is fixed as of software package #3807.
CAUSE
In case of powering off during accessing a Skype file, Applicast or MHP, illegal data remains on NAND, disturbing
the power-on procedure later on.
SOLUTION
1. Skype, Applicast, MHP: Do a Test reset by pressing and holding the “cursor UP” button on the remote and
then pressing the [Power] button on the TV.
2. In case of MHP an additional step may be required, i.e. main board exchange.
3. Update the software to the latest version.
