Subject: Creak noise when operating swivel stand
SYMPTOM
When the swivel stand is manipulated, a creaking noise may be audible at the stand joint.
CAUSE
Friction between parts at the temporary holding areas between the TV and the stand due to unevenness of the
surface of certain parts.
SOLUTION
1. Remove the TV from the stand and reattach. In most cases the noise will disappear.
2. If the noise remains, please add Himeron tape (thickness app. 0.5 mm) into the two “U” areas of the stand, as
illustrated below by the red arrows.
