Subject: Caution when replacing “CX Mount”
SYMPTOM
The unit software needs to be updated after the “CX Mount” replacement.
CAUSE
The replacement “CX Mount” does not have the proper HDMI EDID data.
SOLUTION
1. Replace the “CX Mount” with below part.

2. Update the unit software to the latest version (refer to 13TV013 for detailed procedure).
3. Update EDID / SPI firmware (see next page for detailed procedure).

EDID / SPI firmware update
1. Put the unit in service mode Press [i+], [5], [Vol+] and [I/O]
2. Press [OPTION] to display the “CHASSIS SERVICE” menu.
3. Press [2] 4 times and [1] twice. “RUN_EDID_SEQ” is set to “0”. Press [3] to set the data to “1”.
4. Press [MUTE] and
5. Press [1]. “CHECK_SPI_FW” is set to “0”. Press [3] to set the data to “1”.
6. Press [MUTE] and
7. Turn the unit OFF and remove the AC power plug.
