Subject: No power when connected to an HDMI splitter [REVISION 1]
SYMPTOM
The unit cannot be turned ON when connected to an HDMI splitter.
CAUSE
The unit may have switched in voltage protection mode due to a wrong supply voltage from the HDMI splitter (e.g.
12Vdc instead of 5Vdc).
SOLUTION
If the customer complains about unit no power and if the symptom cannot be reproduced, please ask if a HDMI
splitter is connected to the unit. If the customer uses an HDMI splitter, check with him if the power supply adaptor
voltage is matching with the device (see an example on below pictures).
NOTE: If the customer does not use an HDMI splitter at home, the symptom needs further investigations.
