Subject: No sound or pink picture from analogue input or with analogue TV reception [REVISION1].
SYMPTOM
TV may not have sound (or the picture may be pinkish) from analogue input or with analogue TV reception.
CAUSE
This symptom may happen on TV set with v4.007 software version (or lower) and if the customer selects “Digital
and Analogue” in “Auto Tuning” page at quick start menu when only analogue signal is available.
SOLUTION
Update the software to v4.009 version (or higher), or reset the TV and perform the quick start process again by
selecting only “Analogue” in “Auto Tuning” page:
1. Turn the TV ON by remote.
2. Point remote to IR receiver in front of the TV (near Sony logo). Keep pressing [Arrow up] key on the remote
and press the [POWER] button on TV side for 5 seconds.
3. “RESET” OSD appears to left bottom of screen.
4. TV reboots.
5. TV will automatically show Initial set-up menu.
6. Select the “Language”.
7. Select the “Country”.
8. Select “Home” for home use or “Shop” for shop use.
9. Select only “Analogue”.
10. Select correct network, “Cable” or “Antenna”.
11. Perform Auto Tuning and check picture and sound.
