Subject: Unable to update software.
SYMPTOM
Unable to update software via ‘Network Direct Download‘ or ‘Over Network Download‘ due to a lack of free space.
CAUSE
Free space for upgrade decreases when TV turns on during automatic software download is running.
Finally the TV becomes unable to download or update the software due to a lack of free space.
SOLUTION
Start ‘ Over Network Download ‘ (Home / Settings / Help / System software update )
If error 2123 is displayed, please try to update the TV with USB stick like explained in Technical Bulletin 15TV016 &
15TV017.
If the TV reboot during USB update, recover the TV with the attached ‘ USB Recovery PKG ’
1. Download the applicable file attached to this Technical Bulletin, unzip and copy the extracted to the root of an
empty USB stick.

2. Unplug AC of the TV.
3. Insert the USB stick into the USB slot located at the side of the TV set.
4. Plug in the AC of the TV.
5. The TV will start a recovery process during a few seconds. The below screen will be visible.
6. When the front LED glows blue and Sony logo is displayed it is safe to remove your USB device from the USB slot.
7. Update the TV with USB stick like explained in Technical Bulletin 15TV016 & 15TV017.
