Symptom
No picture/backlight, but sound is present.
Cure
INFO:
TV is working (reaction to remote control, sound is present) but no backlight.
CURE:
On the PSU, check for bad contacts at inverter transformer 5202. Sometimes there is small crack in the board (see figure 1), solder joint (see figure 2) and/or copper track.
Add extra wires to solve the problem (see figure 3).
