Subject: Voice Remote Control can not be updated.
SYMPTOM
Issue 1: Updating does not end.
Issue 2: not possible to update the FirmWare of the Remote Commander after replacing the batteries.
- If you select ‘Try again’, message ‘Update failed’ appears.
- If you select ‘Exit’, FirmWare update is not completed correctly.
CAUSE
Bug in Remote Control software
SOLUTION
Issue 1: Updating does not end.
AC OFF/ON the TV
OR
Press and hold the Remote Control power key for 5 seconds (Forced Reset).

1. Unpair the Remote Control
( Press the HOME button, select [Settings] -> [Network & Accessories] -> [Bluetooth settings] -> [Device list]
-> [SONY TV RC MIC 001] -> [Unpair] -> [OK]
2. Pair the Remote Control
( Press the HOME button, select [Settings] -> [Voice Remote Control] -> [Activate the button], then follow
the on-screen instruction )

3. Update FirmWare of Voice Remote Control.
( Press the HOME button, select [Settings] -> [Network & Accessories] -> [Voice Remote Control] ->
[Software update] -> [Update]. ‘Updating’ and ‘Update complete!’ screen will appear. Press [OK] )
If FirmWare of Voice Remote Control is the latest one, ‘ Your software is up to date ‘ screen will appear.
