No Picture and Normal Sound by Logic Buffer Board Defect
No picture/ Normal sound, Logic Buffer, Address Buffer, E-buffer, F-Buffer
Symptom : No picture/ Normal sound
Cause : MLCC(Multi Layer Ceramic Capacitor) Short/Burnt occurred within Logic Buffer Board. --> VA power Fuse opens.
Since VA power terminal opens, the voltage is not supplied to Module Addrerss. → No picture
Solution :
When TP of SMPS Board is measured, VS/VA voltages were normal. (The voltage was out normally as
specified in the Voltage Label attached on the Module Rear.
On Logic Buffer in Module bottom left, VA power DVM is measured. --> Fuse Open is confirmed.
(Normal: Short, Defect: Open)
