SUBJECT: Alternate PDP panel installation
BACKGROUND: There are two types of Module being shipped as replacement parts. One is
the “W2A Module” and the other is the “W2A Plus Module”. The two modules can be used
alternatively; however, the module boards (i.e. X-Main; Y-Main) are different and therefore the
connections to the SMPS and buffer board are slightly different.
REPAIR: Follow the instructions in the service manual located on GSPN for the proper PDP panel
replacement instructions.
PROCEDURE: Determine which installation relates to your specific situation:
Original PDP module W2A (photo 1), is being replaced with W2A Plus (photo 2)
a. Cables A and B (W2A) will not be used; return with the old W2A panel
