Subject: Dislodged DVD Drive Clamper
Symptom: DVD player fails to play or DVD disc found stuck in the player
Cause: DVD drive clamper disc dislodged from its holder
Solution: Use the following procedure to repair the DVD mechanism assembly:
1) Remove the DVD Drive Mechanism from the LCD TV.
2) Remove the two (2) Phillips screws and unplug connector as shown in Figure 1.
