A countermeasure against remote commander does not work properly when turning on power
Symptom:
If a customer should complain about a 40 inch or larger LCD-TV or DVD/BluRay player as example that is used nearby the LCD-TV, the symptom for which the remote commander does not work properly after turning on power occurs.
The symptom that occurs is caused by infrared ray, although it may be influenced by customer’s use and setting environment. For all Large-screen LCD-TV using CCFL, basically the back light contains infrared ray. The infrared ray refracts and blocks signal for remote commander. Therefore, remote commander does not work properly.
When turning power on, the largest amount of infrared ray from back light is released. Therefore the symptom often occurs when turning on power.
