I was watching a channel that displays their logo all of the time. After watching this channel I switched to another station and I could still see a faint image of the logo. Do LCD TV's have image retention?

Solution
Yes, LCD TV's, whether direct view or rear projection can have image retention however it will normally correct itself after 1-2 days. If the customer is concerned that this will cause permanent damage they should avoid displaying still images on the screen for extended periods of time. In the event that the image does not go away, image retention is NOT a warranty item.
