Troubleshooting by the Diagnostic Codes

How do you troubleshoot by the Diagnostic Codes?
[Primary Symptom Code: 118X ]
Solution
MRU Blinking 9 times and Display section LED is flashing RED/GREEN, RED/ GREEN etc
-Plasma Panel or plasma Circuit boards are at fault.
MRU Blinking 9 times and Display section LED is flashing 7 times
-Audio problem. Check K board.
MRU Blinking 9 times and Display section LED is flashing 6 times
-Power supply problem.
Check G, G1, G2, F1 and F2 boards as applicable to the model.
MRU Blinking 9 times and Display section LED is flashing 4 times
-Temp sensor has tripped. Make sure unit is in a cool area and fans are
operating in the display section AND Media Receiver Unit (MRU).
If the MRU Power/Standby LED is blinking:
9 Times, SEE ABOVE
10 Times, Over Voltage Problem, Change MRU
8 Times, Over Voltage Problem of DC-DC Conv. Change MRU
6 Times, Power failure, Change MRU
4 Times, Fan error, Check fans in MRU and display section
If the MRU LED is flashing ORANGE and the Display section LED is off
-Power cord of the display section is not connected or IF cable is not connected to the display section.
Also make sure that the MRU is the correct one for the Display section, see E23802956.
If the MRU LED is off and the Display section LED is flashing ORANGE
-Power cord of the MRU is not connected or IF cable is not connected to the display section.
Also check data connection cables for a bad connection or a damaged cable.
