No sound and AUDIO menu is grayed out
Symptoms / Customer Description
I have no sound through my speakers and when I try to access my Audio menu everything is
grayed out.

Solution
Check CN7060 (H8 board) to CN8700 (AL Board) as the headphone detect line is located on pin1 and if this connection is missing you will get no sound and no audio menu. Reseat connector and check head phone jack for damage.

No audio through speakers and Audio menu appears grayed out
Symptoms / Customer Description
I have no audio and my audio menu is grayed out.

Solution
Verify that CN7060 (H8 board) to CN8700 (AL Board) is seated correctly. This harness has
the Head Phone detect line and if the harness is not connected properly the audio menu
will be grayed out and you will have no audio through the speakers. With the harness disconnected the TV thinks that headphones have been plugged in thus disabling the
speakers and all but the MTS option within the Audio menu.
