Ghosting on component inputs
Symptoms / Customer Description
Light ghosting around images from satalite local channels supplied through component input.
If input signal from DVD on component inputs picture was fine
[Primary Symptom Code: 1346 ]
Solution
Found the satellite box was hooked up to composite inputs and RF to TV input. Channel 3 which was 480i out of satellite box.
Hooked up satellite box to component input on back of unit ( instead of side where satellite guy installed it) and put input to component in and formatted box to OUTPUT 1080i and ghosting was eliminated and looked good.
