Rather than changing the entire LCD panel assembly can we change the inverter board?

NOTE: Troubleshooting tips.
For the 32 inch models there are 3 yellow fuses located on the inverter board (F001, F002, and
F003). Quite often F003 will be opened when an inverter board fails so please check this fuse
with your meter.
For the 40 inch models there are 3 yellow fuses located on the inverter board (F001, F002, and F003). Check these fuses first. F002 or F003 may be opened when an inverter board fails.
This is a good starting point.
Symptoms of an inverter board problem.
The picture may come on with half of the screen being darker than the rest.
The TV may come on but have no backlight.
The TV may shutdown and the front panel LED blinks 4 times.
