SUBJECT: 2015 Smart TV, Wi-Fi Connection Issue
- Symptoms:
o The TV fails to establish a wireless (Wi-Fi) network connection.
- REPAIR GUIDE:
1) Do Not Change any parts.
2) Update the TV Software to version 1214.1 or higher.
Note: Make sure to download the S/W file from SAMSUNG.COM prior to customer visit.
I. Download the latest software file from Samsung.com to your computer.
o Go to Samsung.com > Owners & Support > Get Support, and then enter the product’s model number into the search field.
o Scroll down to Manuals & Downloads, and then click ‘Upgrade File (USB type) (EN)’ to download the TV’s software file.
II. Unzip and extract the folder and files to a USB flash drive.
o Make sure the ‘T-HKMAKUC’ folder is in the root directory of the USB flash drive. Please refer to the folder structure below.
※ Folder Structure: USB (Removable Disk) > T-HKMAKUC
III. Use the files on the USB drive to update the TV’s software.
