Subject: Picture block noise and audio dropouts on DVB-S signal
Symptom When watching some satellite HD channels, there is a possibility of picture block noise and
audio dropouts occuring during the first 15 minutes after switching on the TV set.
Remedy: Change XS PCB assembly. There are two different methods how to do it:
Method 1: Exchange XS PCB assembly by new part
Method 2: Modify the existing XS PCB assembly
And change internal wire dressing, see last page.
Method 1: Exchange XS PCB assembly
Order a replacement XS PCB (part: TXFUX01LQUEG)
And change internal wire dressing, see last page (Fig. 4).
Or
Method 2: XS PCB assembly modification
Step 1
Check PCB label suffix (Fig.1). If there is "AB" replace the capacitors
on the original XS PCB with new parts as indicated below (Fig.2):
If the suffix is "AC" then there is no need to modify the capacitors.
