BACKGROUND: When you service a Samsung curved LED TV, the panel must be fully supported. The new Service Jig Cushion provides the necessary support.
The jig is available through parts. Do not attempt to claim this part on any warranty bill.
PROCEDURE: To use the service cushion jig, lay it on a solid flat surface, and then cover it with a clean service pad or blanket (not supplied with the jig). Lay the TV face down evenly on the service jig so that the wider foam sections (shown on the left and right sides of the photo below) support the edges of the panel and the short foam sections (shown on the top and bottom of the photo) support the center of the panel. Do not allow a corner or edge of the panel to come in contact with or rest on the floor while placing the TV on the jig or when servicing the TV.
Failure to properly support and/or handle the panel can cause damage to the panel. This damage will not be covered under warranty.
