General We inform you of the DTV software update to version 1.72.
The following is a list of fixes and changes in these software releases.
• Improved so that the CAUTION OSD is not displayed on screen suddenly while watching the SKY DTV of UK.
Servicing If the current software version in the unit is lower version than version 1.72, update the unit by using CAM
(PCMCIA CARD).
For the way of software updating, please refer to the item of “Software Version Upgrade Using Card” in the
Service Manual of each model.

Note:
• When updating the unit, don’t turn off the power of the unit, because the start-up of the unit becomes impossible
if a power is turned off while updating the software.
• When updating the unit by your service, record the confirmed symptom of the unit and both the current software
version (before updating) and the updated version (after updating) also.
