Issue:
When replacing the main board, you must set the option bytes correctly and enter the serial number to complete the repair.
Steps:
The following steps must be performed after the main board replacement:
1. Take photographs of back cover label and panel serial number sticker.
2. Change the Option Bytes in the factory menu (requires a factory remote).
3. Input the Serial Number.
4. Update the TV firmware to the latest version from Samsung.com. You must download the firmware for the applicable TV model to a USB drive before visiting the customer, and then bring it with you.
5. Reconnect the TV to the customer’s network and re-pair the Bluetooth remote when applicable.
