SYMPTOM: TV turns on automatically
SERVICE PREPARATION:
1. Download the latest software version for the TV from Samsung.com and bring it with you
2. Download the Sub Micom versions from the link in this bulletin (file name. 2018_Model_Submicom_files.zip)
a. Extract the .bin files to the root directory of a USB flash drive. You can use the same USB for the main software and the Sub Micom files
b. The TV will select the correct files from the USB
SERVICE STEPS:
1. Update TV software to latest version
a. Insert the USB with the latest software version into an available USB port on the TV
b. Press Home on the remote control then go to Setting > Support > Software Update > Update Now
c. Select Yes when the TV prompts you to select files from the USB Flash Drive
d. Wait for the update to finish
e. The TV will automatically power off and on when the update has finished
