NOTICE:
If you order panel part number BN95-03858A, and the panel is not available, you can order an alternate panel - BN95-03859A - but you must replace the main board at the same time you replace the panel. Accordingly, if you order alternate panel part number BN95-03859A, you must also order main board part number BN94-12660U and install it at the same time.
REPAIR IF YOU ORDERED THE ALTERNATE PANEL (BN95-03859A) AND MAIN BOARD:
1) Before visiting the customer, save the attached .bin file (55A1MU0QM.bin) to the root of a USB drive. Do not change the file name.
2) Install the new panel and main board.
3) Go to the Factory Menu, and then change the panel type to 55A1MU0QM.
4) Update the T-Con Data:
a. Insert the USB with the .bin file into a USB port on the TV.
b. Go to Factory Menu SVC Upgrade T-Con Data upgrade.
c. Wait for the upgrade to finish completely. Do not unplug the TV or power it off during the upgrade process.
5) Check the test patterns in the Factory Menu.
6) Do a Picture Test to verify performance.
REPAIR IF YOU ORDERED THE ORIGINAL PANEL (BN95-03858A):
1) Install the new panel.
2) Check the test patterns in the Factory Menu.
3) Do a Picture Test to verify performance.
