General There is possibility that a defective CPLD IC (Complex Programmable logic device) has been
used in some above mentioned production sets. In order to avoid the occurrence of a trouble
caused by this defective CPLD IC, we would like to ask you to perform the following servicing
procedure.
Phenomenon When the CPLD IC breaks down, the mainly following phenomena occur.
• The power is on, but no backlight.
• Can’t power on, only standby mode.
Servicing When you receive any above mentioned sets in any case, please take the steps following the
