General A defective IC3002 was experienced in the field.
We would like to inform you about the servicing method as follows.
Phenomenon 1) The OSD flickers.
2) The backlight can not be controlled.
3) The screen freezes when operating TELETEXT.
4) The screen becomes dark continuously and unable to restore.
Cause Defective IC3002 (RH-IXB698WJN1Q) on the main unit
Servicing When the above phenomenon happened, there is a possibility that the IC3002 is defective.
Please replace the existing main unit with new one.
The replacement main unit which has a good IC3002 can be distinguished with either of the
following methods.
• Check if the lot marking of the replacement main unit is “B37”.
• Check if the date code of IC3002 (on the replacement main unit) is 6278 or later.
