There is an error in the OSD message of the “Switch on volume” function.
The correct TV behavior is as follows.
OSD message [TV Menu] – [Sound] – [Switch on volume]
CORRECT
(Actual TV operation)
Here you specify which volume is to be set after switching on the TV set
by unplugging the AC cord and plugged it in again or after a power
failure. This does not apply to switching on from standby.
WRONG Here you specify which volume is to be set after switching on the TV set
at the mains switch or after a power failure. This does not apply to
switching on from standby.

Servicing If customer complains of the above mentioned error, please explain the above described correct TV behavior to
the customer.
Explanation of actual TV operation:
The “Switch on volume” function is not performed after switching on the TV when the TV was
turned off at the mains switch. The volume level will become the last adjusted volume when the
TV was turned off.
