General We inform you of the main software update to version 1.21.
The following is a list of changes and fixes in this release.

• In GAW / GGSNET / YETNET / WWZ, HD service is not registered in the list although the
searching is performed due to the uniquely operation by the broadcasting organization.
(Swiss DVB-C broadcasting)
• [E203] is displayed when the service which is registered by the search is selected due to the
error handling for service information. (Swiss DVB-C GGSNET)
• In 256QAM scrambled signal, when starting to view with CI card, audio signal may not be
synchronized with video by about 2sec (German, Netherlandish and Swedish DVB-C
broadcasting).
• In certain 256QAM broadcasting, when tuning channel, audio signal may not be
synchronized with video by about 500msec (German, Netherlandish and Swedish DVB-C
broadcasting)

• Multi language translation (Spanish, French, Italian, Netherlandish, Russian, Polish) are
registered in “Audio out delay” menu added in software v.1.17.
Servicing If customer complains of the above mentioned phenomenon, please check the main software version of the unit.
If it is lower than the latest version 1.21 [ E1003151 ], update the unit according to the following priority.
Firstly: Recommend the customer to download the update file from your web site. (Update the unit by the
customer)
Secondly: Send the update file to the customer. (Update the unit by the customer)
Thirdly: Update the unit by your service.

Note:
･ When updating the unit by your service, record the confirmed symptom of the unit and both the current software
version (before updating) and the updated version (after updating).
･ When updating unit by using a USB memory device, the user settings will be kept in the unit.
Only when the initializing of the user settings is required, perform the delivery setting (INDUSTRY INIT).
