General We inform you of the main software update to version 1.05.

• Conformed to the following standards
1. Conformed to the standards of search in the Danish Cable broadcasting (Yousee).
2. Conformed to the standards of the Dutch Cable broadcasting and enforced the following improvement.
- Modified so that the wrong TeleText-Subtitle is not displayed when the Subtitle is turned on.
- Deleted the selection screen of Cable Provider.
• Improved the following sort function in the channel setting of the Cable broadcasting.
1. Changed to “Service Move” when the country setting of DVB-C / DVB-S is Germany / Austria / Switzerland.
2. Changed the Service Preset Sort Table only in Germany.
3. Conformed to the Alphabet Sort in Germany / Austria / Switzerland.
• Fixed the following phenomenon.
1. [E203] error may occur during playback of Time Shift and its Playback screen may become black.
Servicing Only if customer complains of the fixed phenomena in this release, check for the current software version of the
unit. If it is lower version than 1.05, update the unit with the following priority.
Firstly: Recommend the customer to download the update file from your web site. (Update the unit by
the customer)
Secondly: Send the update file to the customer. (Update the unit by the customer)
Thirdly: Update the unit by your service.

Note:
• When updating the unit by your service, record the confirmed symptom of the unit and both the current software
version (before updating) and the updated version (after updating).
• When updating unit by using a USB memory device, the user settings will be kept in the unit.
Only when the initializing of the user settings is required, perform the delivery setting (INDUSTRY INIT).
