Countermeasure
Spacer is added to the Power unit for prevention of the following symptom.
A part of the Back cabinet of the TV set is deformed.
If the diode D7805 on the Power unit becomes defective (short-circuit), the heat sink of the Power unit will
become a high temperature. This may cause the Back cabinet to deform.
In order to give clearance between the Back cabinet and the Power unit, the 3(three) pcs of Spacer
LHLDZB650WJKZ should be added to SP7001, SP7002 and SP7004 on the Power unit.
Servicing When any of the TV sets which are within the OLD Serial Number range is required for service regardless of
the defect symptom, please perform the following procedures at the same time of servicing.
1. Add the 3(three) Spacer LHLDZB650WJKZ to SP7001, SP7002 and SP7004 on the Power unit.
2. Check for the Diode D7805 on the Power unit by using a tester. If it is defective, replace the Power unit to a
new one.
