Details of the
change
We inform you about a change in the power unit for performance improvement.
If the ceramic capacitor C7817/C7818 in the power unit becomes defective, the power of TV set does not
turn on (in this case, the Center Icon flashes twice). To prevent this from occurring, the following component
parts change in the power unit is implemented.
For further increasing the margin of the ceramic capacitors C7817/C7818, they are changed from 1000pF/1kV to
470pF/1kV type. With this change, the ferrite beads FB7803/FB7805 are also changed to the jumper to avoid a
noise due to the decline of the capacity of the C7817/C7818.
Servicing There is no change of Parts code of the power unit. Please supply and use the OLD power unit first.
