HDMI INTERMITTENT PICTURE CUTS OUT WITH MESS
When some of the above TV Sets is called for service due to the described phenomenon,
please proceed as follows.
1. Enter the Service Mode according the Service Manual. Figure 1 Menu will appear on screen.
2. Check the Main Version. If it is lower to 1.34, proceed to update the software version to 1.34 or upper,
as details the Service Manual.

Note: The fi le name is always the same, but the contents is changing every software version.

In the below TV sets, it may appear through HDMI connection at 1080i 50Hz or 60Hz following
phenomenons:
1- The picture will intermittently cut out and “HDMI 1 or HDMI 2” indication appears in top Left
corner. Then “No Information” banner appears at the bottom of screen.
2 - Half a screen of digital noise.
The fault can happen at random.
The fault appears with HD set top box, Freesat and Blu-ray.
