When some of the above TV is called for service due to the phenomenon described, proceed
to modify the set as follows:
- Check on screen the VGC (Main) Software Version. In case it was V2.37 Version or lower
(for 37GE1E and 46/52XD1E/EC models), or V1.09 Version (for 46/52XL1 models) proceed to
update as follows:
For LC37GE1E use the fi le “37ge1b_v238.img” or upper, following the own Service Manual (See
chapter 6 of LC37GE1 Service Manual No. S66U1LC37GE1E)
For 46/52XD1E/EC use the fi le “46_52xd1_v238.img” or upper, and following the own Service
Manual (See chapter 5 of 46/52XD1E Service Manual No. S76V5LC46XD1E).
For 46/52XL1 use the fi le “46_52xl1_v110.img” or upper, and following the own Service Manual
(See chapter 3 of LC-46/52XL1E/RU Service Manual No. S67J4LC46XL1E).
During playing with XBOX (by EXT4: components input, 1080i mode) is possible that, sporadically,
the picture disappears for few seconds (sound remains OK).
