Is possible that, in some TV sets, doesn’t appear picture in the screen because the IC3002 is
defective.
Inspection:
With TV set in ON condition, after a warm-up time, the screen is muted (black screen) by a malfunction
of the internal VCTP LVDS area. Cooling the TV set or the VCTP IC, the screen leaves
the mute state. Sometimes, it’s necessary to switch-on again the TV set to get a proper picture.
In this case proceed as follows:
Countermeasure
Replace the VCTP IC (IC3002 of Main PWB) for a new one. Please, use new VCTP B3 mask
instead old one B2.
1. B3 mask requirements:
1.1. Update the required VCTP Software Version File below detailed or upper, depending on the
model:
For P55 Series: “LEW05A-WPAL-V1202.bin”
For P70 Series: “LEW05A-WPAL-DTV_V1042.bin”
1.1.1 Select the inches TV Set at “QS Temperature NVM Data Confi rmation Adjustment”.
1.1.2. Select the country TV Set at “Factory Settings adjustment”.
