Due to discontinuous supply on the “B1” FRC mask (IC6004), it is included the “B2” as alternative
for spare parts.
When it was required to replace the FRC, this is IC6004, proceed to replace by the same mask.
In case it is not available, it can be used the alternative one.
Both of them are interchangeable, but in case the change is from B1 to B2 mask, it is also requested
to update the IC1002 Software Version to GA6v0.9ExpF6 or upper (see at the Service
Manual “How to update VCTi Software” on page 29. This procedure will guide a proper Flash
Memory updating. Service Manual Code: SE00LC26GA600.)
Notes:
1. The updated IC1002 Software Version is compatible with both B1 and B2 FRC mask.
2. On IC6004 surface it can be read one of these references:
“FRC 9429A B1”
